Tour overview

The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is one of the thrilling adventures that provides stunning imagery of all the environment and natural splendors of the Everest region. The most alluring aspect of this heli ride is that it provides a fresh and less tiring experience in comparison to a two-way walk along the Everest Base Camp trail which results in the completion of your trek in a comparatively shorter period of time.
Landing at Kalapattar provides 360-degree vistas of the world’s tallest mountains, including Everest (8848m), Pumori Lhotse (8516m), Nuptse (7855m), Changtse (7553m), and many other snow-capped peaks.”
The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour departs from the domestic terminal at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. During the flight, you get to experience the stunning sceneries, beautiful rolling hills ornamented with farm fields, and a backdrop of satisfying mountains.
The flight simply lands you at Lukla airport, from where you will start your trek to Phakding. As we approach Lukla Airport, the flight experience becomes even more enjoyable. You will receive your first taste of Sherpa culture here. The Everest region is mostly Buddhist, with the majority of inhabitants practicing Buddhism and related traditions.
From Namche Bazar to the final trekking spot i.e. Kalapathar, you continue the regular Everest base camp itinerary, where you get to enjoy the natural beauty closely. the expedition offers your a time-friendly experience with minimal walking. Once you reach the Kalapathar you don’t have to worry about returning from the same trial. to save your time and give your body quick relaxation, you can enjoy the heli ride.
Our courageous pilots will ensure that all safety procedures have been done and will inspect the helipad before landing at an altitude of 5450m at Kala Patthar. You’ll be met with 360-degree panoramic views of the Nuptse-Lhotse-Lola peaks, Khumbu Ice Falls, glaciers, and Mt. Pumori.
