Tour overview

The highest hike point, Helambu, is only 3,500 meters, making it a pleasant and simple trek. The Hyolmo people, who have a unique culture, live in the Helambu Valley are amazing and decent to every people visit there . Lauribina La Pass marks the beginning of the Helambu region, which continues into the Melamchi valley.
You will pass past a few Sherpa and Tamang villages as well as numerous Buddhist monasteries, shrines, and stupas built in the Tibetan style. Although there are less people on the Helambu trekking routes, nature never ceases to astound you with its magnificence.When the rhododendron blossoms are in bloom, the trail through the deep woodlands leads us to cross a number of ridgelines. The scenery is breathtaking, and the lush meadows evoke a sense of serenity.
From Kathmandu, we first drive to SundariJal and hike via Shivapuri National Park to Chisapani, where we will spend the first night of the journey. The following day, while traveling to Kutumsang, we’ll follow a ridgeline and take in the scenery of the Langtang mountains. You will travel via Pathi Bhanjyang and Gul Bhanjyang before arriving in Kutumsang.
We spend the night in Kutumsang and then travel to Tharepati past Magen Goth through thick fir and rhododendron forests. The highest point of the journey is Tharepati. We hike along the Melamchi Khola from Tharepati to Melamchi Village, which is populated by Sherpas. We gain insight into the local culture of these locals, through the monasteries in this village. To get to Tarke Ghyang, we continue walking after crossing a number of Sherpa villages. Helambu is a colloquial name for a number of Tamang-Sherpa communities. These villages include Tarke Ghyang.
We travel from Tarke Ghyang to Sarmanthang while taking in breathtaking views of numerous mountains, passing through deep forests, waterfalls, and tiny settlements. We continue on to Melamchi Bazaar and then take a drive back to Kathmandu, where the hike comes to a end, after arriving in Sarmanthang.

Itinerary

We pick you up at the Tribhuvan International Airport and drive you 25 minutes to the hotel. Hotel check-in and program briefing by our guide. In Kathmandu, spend the night and have breakfast at the hotel.

A professional tour guide arrives at the hotel door at 9 AM in a car. About Nepal is explained by the guide. Swayambhunath (1st century), Kathmandu Durbar, Pashupatinath (5th century), and Boudhanath are the four UNESCO world historic sites (5th century)

We travel 15 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu Valley in 45 minutes by car to Sundarijal (1390 m). Projects to supply Kathmandu with drinking water and hydropower exist. We go on a hike inside the checkpoint-and-picnic-area-equipped Shivapuri National Park. We cross the dam and go past a Tamang village at Mulkharka (1895 m), where there is a tea store with views of Kathmandu. To reach Borlang Bhanjyang (2440 m), where we can see Ganesh Himal and Langtang, we must travel through a forest. In 45 minutes, we descend to Chisopani (cold water) with teahouses. Visit a lodge in Chisapani for the night.

We get up early in order to see the spectacular sunrise from the Chisapani viewpoint. You will never forget the sight of the Himalayan range being illuminated by the rising sun. We leave for Kutumsang after breakfast, which takes five to six hours. You may take in the breathtaking vistas of the Langtang mountains as you trek beside several meadows and agricultural areas. We then leave the ridge and arrive in Pathi Bhanjyang, a small yet charming town. We continue our ascent to Gul Bhanjyang by scaling a hill to a pass. You continue downhill from the pass to Kutumsang, where you will spend the night.

We travel to the north after breakfast to see the stunning vistas of the peaks covered with snow. In a region devoid of permanent communities, we ascend above along a rocky road that passes through fir and rhododendron trees. The rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal, is in full bloom amid the lush, deep woods. The walk continues to Yurin Danda, where you may take in stunning Himalayan views. We soon reach a few lodges at Magen Goth, which is close to a meadow and offers breathtaking mountain views. We continue our ascent till we reach Tharepati.

About four hours pass. The path gradually climbs through a magical woodland filled with stunning oak and rhododendron trees. The viewpoint expressed by Tharepati is excellent, as are those of Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishankar, Langshisa, and others. The trail gently descends through a pine and rhododendron forest from Tharepati, offering stunning views of the town of Helambu.

It takes approximately five hours to get from Tarkeghyang to Shermathang. You continue walking while traversing a few tiny waterways. An attractive village is located halfway to Shermathang. Another charming Sherpa settlement where you can see numerous historic monasteries is Shermathang. At the north face of the settlement of Shermathang, one can view the Jugal Himal range.

For today we will start with warm local breakfast at Sherma and quickly begin our trek towards Kakani (2070m). Kakani is the beautiful village located in Nuwakot District. the trial offer the best combined view of white mountains and traditional villages.

From Kakani to Melamchi its 65.3 km which almost takes 3 hours to reach. after having the break ar Melamchi we drive at same day to Kathmandu.

The 6 km travel to the Kathmandu Airport takes 25 minutes. Arrive at the airport three hours before to takeoff. We hope your flight goes well and safely.
